Introduction. The presses are powered machines having stationary beds and slides (rams) which have controlled sliding motion towards away from the beds, guided by frames. Metal can be worked in power press a wide verity of ways like punching, shearing, forming, etc. Crankshaft is one basic components for transmission, transmits rotary to mechanical press. It around this element that all stresses deformations concentrated. purpose study: rationalization design crankshaft, taking into account strength characteristics frame, connection screws, tie rods. methods include two stages crankshaft development: 1) modelling parametric cad software; 2) FE analysis Ansys-22R1. existing as well improved was investigated method with topology analysis. Topology part Generative design. Result Discussion. including bearing assembly, depends largely on maximum pressure will generated at bottom stroke, carefully considered when designing other parts presses. Based results structure, it found an increase structural possible adding additional material area potential destruction.
